I found the hotel to be a mixed experience. The rooms were very clean, but there was a noticeable bad smell, possibly due to ongoing renovations. Unfortunately, we didn't receive the cheaper rate when it was offered on the same day we checked in. The location, although close to UNC Charlotte and good restaurants, appeared rundown compared to my usual standards.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms, though clean, were very small and had a lingering smell of cigarettes despite my request for a non-smoking room. On the positive side, the room was really clean and smelled great. The service was friendly, but there was an inconvenience with charging the initial card instead of the one I provided. The location was good for my plans, being close to UNC Charlotte where I attended a graduation ceremony. Unfortunately, the dining options were limited, and some advertised amenities were not available. Overall, a somewhat average stay with ups and downs.
